Hi Friends!
Today I wanted to do a Palette Bingo challenge! I have seen these all over YouTube, not sure who really started it but I think the first one I saw was from Lauren Mae Beauty. I actually talked about her Palette Bingos in my 5 Favorite Beauty YouTubers post. If you aren’t familiar with what a Palette Bingo is, it is essentially where you randomly select a certain number of shades from a single palette and you create a look with those shades!
So this will be my very first Palette Bingo and I selected the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette. I only selected 4 shades today because the Prism Palette has a lot of bright colors and I didn’t want to pick too many and not have a decent look to share with you guys. Also FYI I used a random number generator through Google to select the shades.
Here are the 4 shades that I will be working with:
3 – Unity
6 – Sphere
2 – Eden
8 – Dimension
As a first step, I used Unity all over my lid to set my primer and to use it as a transition shade.
I then used Eden all over my lid, in the crease, and on the outer v of my eye. I wanted to focus most of the color on the outer v. And then I brushed Eden on the out half of my lower lash line as well. This just added a little mirroring from the upper lid and made it more cohesive.
I then stamped Dimension on the inner half of my eyelid and blended it out into Eden.
As a last step, I blended Sphere on the inner half of my lash line and then also in the inner corner.
And here is the final look!
I really like the way this look turned out. It definitely isn’t something I would have naturally put together but it was fun trying to figure out how to use each shade. What I think is so interesting with Palette Bingos is how many different looks can be dreamed up. I could have definitely seen myself doing a halo eye with Sphere in the center and Dimension surrounding it.
Ultimately, this look came together! Let me know your thoughts and how you would have used these shades together, I would love to know!
What a fun way to break out of you makeup routine. I love the yellow but I wouldn’t use it normally. Great way to mix things up.
