Welcome back to my blog and happy Sunday! Today I have another update for my Sample Sunday series. This is a series where I try 5 samples each week and report back on my thoughts and ultimately if I would purchase the full size or not.
Here is what I thought of last week’s samples:
Clean Reserve – Citron Fig – This perfume is just okay! I don’t think it is anything special, much like the perfumes I try in this series. I don’t have any interest in purchasing the full size.
Sephora Collection – 10HR Wear Perfection Foundation – I love this foundation! I actually already have the full size and would definitely purchase it again. It just goes on so smoothly and has great coverage. Plus it has a good price point for Sephora. I definitely recommend it!
Sunday Riley – Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment – I wish this sample was a little bigger – I don’t really know if it had any impact on my skin. I did feel it working on my skin after applying but didn’t notice any difference in my skin. As of right now, I don’t plan to purchase this serum, especially because it is so expensive!
Peter Thomas Roth – Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream – This moisturizer is water based and lightweight so it sinks right into the skin. It definitely felt nice, especially in this summer heat but it wasn’t anything amazing. I am glad I tried the sample but I don’t think I am going to purchase.
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Clear Brow Gel – I honestly don’t need to purchase a full size because this brow gel will last me forever. I don’t really need a brow gel on a day to day basis. If I am feeling really extra then I will use it but rarely am I feeling that extra. I think this brow gel is good though, I don’t have any complaints! It definitely kept my brow hairs in place.
For next week, I will be trying the following samples:
- BareMinerals – Tinted Hydration Gel Cream
- Urban Decay – All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer
- Guerlain Paris – Mon Guerlain Eau De Parfum
- Marc Jacobs – Daisy Perfume
- Stellar – Brilliant Primer
