Influenster x Charlotte Tilbury: Unboxing and Review!

Hi Friends!

I just got another box from Influenster and I am SO excited! I have never received a high end makeup from Influenster until now! So this box was sent out in celebration / to get the word out that Charlotte Tilbury is coming to Sephora! They will be launching in Sephora on September 13th, so keep your eye out.

This box came with three items which is incredible because as I am sure you know, Charlotte Tilbury is REALLY expensive. I have been interested in trying some of their products in the past but could never bring myself to actually buy anything, just because of the price point. So this box is my introduction to Charlotte Tilbury.

This box also came with a little info card which has information about each product but it also has a little quote from Charlotte Tilbury that I wanted to share. She says that her mantra is “Give a woman the right makeup and she can conquer the world! And it’s my mission to make every woman from 18-80, feel like the most beautiful version of themselves every day!” So I think that quote is pretty cute and I like that they added that to the info sheet.

Charlotte’s Magic Cream

This is an award-winning moisturizer that started the entire Charlotte Tilbury brand. It claims to transform skin to a perfect-glowing base for makeup. It includes Camelia oil, Rosehip oil, Bio-Nymph Peptides, and Hyaluronic acid which are all supposed to be really moisturizing for the skin. It also has an SPF 15 in it which will help protect your skin from UV damage.

The packaging is beautiful. I wouldn’t say its super luxurious but you can tell it is an expensive face cream. The jar that I received from Influenster is 15ml which retails for $29. The normal size and the size that will be available at Sephora is 50ml which will retail for $100. It does smell like peony and sunscreen mixed together which I actually really like! It’s a nice pick-me-up in the morning.

I have really been loving this moisturizer! You barely need any to cover your entire face and it really does moisten and hydrate your skin instantly. I honestly feel a difference in my skin after I apply this in the morning. I do only apply it in the morning since it does have SPF and I am very particular with the moisturizers that I apply in the morning. I don’t want anything that will feel too heavy or anything that will slip throughout the day under my makeup. This moisturizer is beautiful under makeup! I can tell that it really was made with women wearing makeup over it.

I have noticed a difference in how my makeup is wearing. It really is lasting all day and looks radiant all day long. And at first, I didn’t really know why. AND THEN I remembered that I have been testing out this moisturizer and I really tribute all of my good skin days to this moisturizer. It a really, really beautiful product.

Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencil

The next item I received is the Colour Chameleon Colour Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil in Bronzed Garnet. This claims to be after to go from day to night with a soft focus for the day and a stunning color shine in the evening. It also is supposed to last up to 10 hours on your eyes.

The Colour Chameleon eyeshadow pencils come with 1.6 grams of product and retails for $27. That is a lot of product, especially for a pencil like this where you don’t need a lot to cover your entire eye however it is also quite expensive. Charlotte Tilbury has 8 shades in this eyeshadow pencil range.

So I received the shade Bronzed Garnet because it is supposed to go well with green eyes. And I think it does, really well. It is essentially just a dark bronze shade so I do also think it will work well with other eye colors.

What I love about this eyeshadow pencil is the wear time. Even just swatching it on my hand, you CANNOT rub it off without soap and water. It literally is stuck there. It is also a very versatile product. It works great my itself, under other powder eyeshadows, and even on top of eyeshadow. I used it one day just as a liner on top of other shadows that I was wearing at it looked beautiful. It definitely does have a long wear time just like it claimed.

K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick

The third item I received from Influenster is the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in the shade Kim K.W. This is actually funny because I have been testing this lipstick and thinking that I reminds me of the old classic Kim Kardashian nude lip and had no idea that it was named after Kim Kardashian West herself. I remember going out to buy a nude lipstick when I was younger because I wanted to mimic Kim’s look.

Anyway, this lipstick retails for $34. It is an “award-winning, long-lasting lip colour.” It claims to have a cashmere cream texture with a soft-matte finish.

The packaging is really nice. It comes in this rose gold tube and feels pretty heavy. Again not SUPER luxurious but still really nice. I love the lips stamp on the actual lipstick tube, its adorable. And this lipstick smells like vanilla!

I definitely love the formula. It is so smooth on the lips and it definitely feels really moisturizing. It lasts a LONG time. It definitely doesn’t last all day, through eating and talking and all that but it does last a long time. My complaint about this lipstick is the color. And I know it is a beautiful nude but it just doesn’t work for my skin tone. I am way too pale for a lipstick this nude.

Don’t get me wrong, it is beautiful and I still continue to use it but it isn’t my favorite color. But still a beautiful formula, it really does make me want to try the other colors in their range.

Well that is it for me today! I hope you all enjoyed this review – I know it was super long but I wanted to be thorough since I did receive these products for free. Although I received these items complimentary, all opinions are my own!

Let me know down below if you have tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury and what your thoughts were! I would love to know!!
