Today, I wanted to talk about my FAVORITE foundation! This is the Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation. I bought this foundation awhile ago during a Sephora VIB sale and have completely fallen in love with it. At this point you all should know that Too Faced is one of my favorite brands so I had to pick this up!
It does retail for $36 which is a pretty expensive foundation however you do get 1.6 ounces of product which is WAY more than what you get other foundations normally. Normally foundations come with 1 ounce of product so I do think this foundation is a good deal! It does only come with 20 shades but I do think they have a lot for different undertones.
The packaging is so adorable. It has an ombre coloring that starts with a pinky peach shade at the top and then morphs into a cream shade at the bottom. And then just like the other Peaches and Cream collection, it has gold lettering and accents (the cap). I absolutely love that has a pump – it makes it so easy to dispense foundation.
Too Faced claims that this foundation is oil-free, has a 14 hour wear, oil controlling, photo friendly, and shine free. So it obviously sounds like this foundation is better suited for oily skin however I have normal to dry skin and it still is a perfect match.
As for the 14 hour wear time, I do find that it lasts throughout my entire day. If I finish work and am going out later in the evening, I will retouch a few spots but I am happy with the long wear time. I also 100% agree that it is photo friendly. It looks so natural on my skin, almost like my skin but better. It evens out my skin tone, covers my red patches.
I really love the way this foundation blends out. I only need about a pump and a half and feel really confident with the coverage. Even covering many of my blemishes. One of the most important things to me in a foundation is that it looks natural on my skin but still covers my pimples. Of course, this doesn’t cover every bump but it does it better than any other foundation I have tried.
Also, did I mention that this foundation smells like peaches and sweet fig? I know this is a turn off to a lot of people but I LOVE it! It smells so good as you are dabbing it into your skin. The smell fades throughout the day but it is really enjoyable in the morning when I am getting ready.
Overall, I 110% recommend this foundation. Like I said in the beginning, it is my absolute favorite foundation that I have ever bought or tried. Its really beautiful and makes me feel comfortable in my skin.
