Hi Friends!
Today I thought I would talk about 5 (extremely) hyped up makeup products that I have never tried! These are products that I have seen in a million times or more across YouTube and Instagram and a lot of these items are considered holy grails for people!
Natasha Denona Eyeshadows
I have heard so many things about Natasha Denona eyeshadows, especially lately! Nearly everyone says they are worth the money and I have to admit – a lot of her palettes look SO pretty. I have been tempted a couple of times to just make the plunge and buy on of the palettes but they are so expensive. I have a hard time thinking that any singular eyeshadow palette will be worth that price.
I really like the Lila palette (especially right now because I am really into purples). But the other palettes like Sunset palette and the new Safari palette look beautiful as well! I know she has some less expensive options for 5 shades but I also feel like you don’t get much in there so I am still hesitant.
Fenty Beauty Foundation
The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation broke boundaries in the makeup industry for releasing with 40 shades with their initial brand launch. The shade range is amazing and Fenty is founded by Rihanna so I don’t really know why I haven’t tried this.
It is one of the more affordable foundations at Sephora, it should be on my wish list but for some reason this foundation just hasn’t peaked my interest enough to actually buy it.I have tried a sample and it was really nice but I have so many foundations right now and don’t need another one.
Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer
This bronzer was recently released again in limited edition packaging but Marc Jacobs’ also announced that they will be releasing this bronzer permanently since it is so beloved. As I am writing this post, it is sold out!
This bronzer is actually on my loves list, I think I will pick it up once it comes back in stock since everyone loves it so much!
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
The Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder has got to be the most popular setting powder of ALL time. Every time someone mentions their favorite setting powder, 90% of the time they are mentioning the Laura Mercier setting powder. Every time I think of Laura Mercier, I think of their setting powder.
I eventually want to get around to trying this setting powder but right now, I can’t get over the price. $38 is a lot of money for a setting powder (even $23 for the mini size). I feel like I have an obligation to my blog to try it though!
Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow
The Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow quickly shot up to iconic status. Everyone that has tried these absolutely loves them. I feel like if people are looking for that shiny metallic eyelid, they always reach for this liquid eye shadow. It is already foiled for them!
I would like to try these eventually. I honestly don’t know why I haven’t yet. I just have more on my wish list before I get to this one.
So that is it for me today! Let me know if you have tried any of these items that I have mentioned above or let me know if you haven’t tried them! I would love to know either way!
I’ve tried 3/5 on this list! 😊
Natasha Denona: I purchased the ND Mini Lila Palette (just shared my review of it on my blog) and I’m not that impressed by it. Some of the colors were patchy / didn’t blend well. However, I am still curious to try more from this brand since I know that purples tend to be difficult to formulate for most brands.
Laura Mercier: I love the translucent powder and the secret brightening powder! They’re definitely pricey but I think they are worth it. Currently, I’m debating picking up the glow powder.
Stila: I have two shades of the Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows (Karma Kitten, Diamond Dust) and they are stunning. They are so easy to apply with the applicator or even with a finger and they don’t transfer. However, I will say that they are messy when cleaning with a makeup remover – I always end up with glitter all over my face.

Aw – thank you so much for sharing your experience! I have heard that sometimes Natasha Denona palettes can be patchy which is crazy for how expensive they are! Even the smaller ones.
Yeah – I have heard that her powders are worth it! Let me know what you think of the Laura Mercier glow powder if you pick it up.
I feel like glitter is so hard to get rid of in the first place. Maybe that is why I am hesitating with the Stila Glitter and Glows but they always look so pretty!

I really want to try Natasha Denona also!! I haven’t been able to bring myself to pay the price of a full palette and none of the smaller ones caught my eye yet!

I’ve never tried any of the Natasha Denona eyeshadows either, but I want to! Maybe a smaller palette that’s not so pricey!?
