Hi Friends!!
Wow – I can’t believe 2018 has come and gone! Today I am wrapping up my 7 by New Years Project Pan! I did this little project just to finish up some items in my collection before 2019 or just to make some progress on a couple of items that I was already working on.
Overall, I hit my goal on 5 of the 7 items and then I am very close to finishing up the 6th one so I am counting that as well! It was a pretty successful project. As of the last update, I had hit my goal / pan on the Benefit Gold Rush Blush. So this post will focus on the other items!
Too Faced – Beach Bunny Bronzer
I am SO bummed that I didn’t hit pan on this bronzer. I used it almost every single day although I did spend a week in Arizona with my family and didn’t take this bronzer with me. I don’t think the extra week would have gotten me there because I didn’t wear any bronzer while I was there.
I am still going to work on this bronzer – my new goal is to hit pan on it in 2019!
Kat Von D – Color Correcting Eyeshadow Primer
The Kat Von D eyeshadow primer was also a success. My goal was just to get more use out of this primer and I definitely did that! I used it almost every time that I wore eyeshadow. I did forget a couple of times and I did use up a sample of eyeshadow primer though. I am happy with the amount of use that I got during this product.
I don’t see any difference between where I started and where I am now so I know this will take a long, long time to actually go through. I am going to keep working on it as much as possible!
Dr. Brandt – Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner Blackhead Extractor Mask
This face mask from Dr. Brandt is completely used up! I only have 3-4 uses left from my last update and I squeezed every last drop out of this tube! This mask was just okay for me, I didn’t notice a huge difference in my skin so I am happy to move it out of my collection.
L’Oreal Paris – Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
I am SO close to finishing this BB Cream from L’Oreal. I probably have a week of product left so I will keep using it until it is completely used up. I do like this because it adds a bit of extra coverage but I don’t think I need a color corrector really. I will be happy to use this completely up. Because I have so little product left, I am considering this product a success! It’s so close!
Too Faced – Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Skin Perfecting Primer
Its amazing how long this little primer lasted! I expected it to be used up by my first update but it did end up lasting a little longer. I have 3-4 more samples of this primer so I am happy to move this one out! It is a great primer so I enjoyed using it!
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Clear Brow Gel
This ABH Brow Gel is finished! I was so surprised because I heard that brow gels are so difficult to use up but I was able to do it. I used this deluxe sample almost everyday for over 3 months. I got a lot of use out of it and I actually have another brow gel that I am going to move on to. I did end up enjoying this a lot.
So as I already mentioned, this was a pretty successful project pan! When I hit pan on the Too Faced Beach Bunny Bronzer, I will be sure to post a picture on my Instagram (@taylersedit), so stay tuned there if you want to see it.
I don’t know what I am going to do for my project panning in 2019. I really enjoyed doing this short project because it was easy to focus on just a couple of items. Let me know what you think I should do!
Thanks for checking out this post. Let me know down below if you are trying to use up any products. I would love to know!
I’ve never done a short-term / themed project Pan like this before (usually just do one massive rolling project), but I like the idea of zeroing in on a set few products over a shorter period of time! Congrats on all of your progress!!

I did a 18 in 2018 last year which was good to work on longer term products but I really liked this shorter term project. I am still debating what I want to do in 2019. What are you doing?

I’m not sure yet – as of right now, I may just try to do a “Project Progress/Rolling Yearlong Pan,” but unlike 2018, I want to switch up my basket more frequently.
This year, I finished a ton of products, but I felt like this prohibited me from trying out new things fully or showing love to other favorites. Sadly, much of my year-end declutter (to be posted in a few weeks), consisted of expired products. X_X
