Hi Friends!
Happy Sunday! David and I are in Weslaco this weekend visiting his grandparents so I am writing this post a little early. I can’t believe this series is coming to an end, we only have a couple of more posts before I am going to call this series quits. I have used up so many samples this year and I still have A LOT in my sample bin. I have decided to stop selecting samples when I check out on Sephora or Ulta just because I want to use my full size items and these samples can be a distraction.
Although I do really like using new items once in awhile, I want to focus on the stuff I already own! Anyway, here is what I thought of last week’s items!
Miu Miu – Miu Miu Eau De Parfum – This is a really clean, refreshing scent! I really like it, it reminds me of my nana which is an AMAZING thing because she always smells so good. I would be interested in buying this perfume in the future!
Briogeo – Blossom & Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Shampoo – This shampoo is okay! I know Briogeo has really nice products, I love using them but they are a little too expensive in my opinion. I care way more about makeup then my hair. But I did enjoy this shampoo.
Sol De Janerio – Brazillian Bum Bum Cream – I already own a few tubs of this Bum Bum cream! I LOVE it. It smells like vacation and feels so hydrating and smoothing on the skin! I loved using up this sample.
Josie Maran – Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm – Do not put this “finishing balm” over your makeup. I was really curious about this as a finishing step in your makeup but it just wiped off of my foundation. They also said you could use it as a primer which I didn’t do so I would be curious to try this again.
Marc Jacobs – Shameless Youthful-Look 24 Hr Foundation – I tried this foundation once before on my Sample Sunday post and I didn’t like it at all. I went for a kayak ride and the foundation just completely ran all over my face so it was really frustrating. But this time, I really liked it! It was easy to blend and looked natural on the skin. I don’t plan to purchase the full size just because I have a lot of foundations already.

- Kate Sommerville – Exfolikate Glow Moisturizer
- Too Faced – Primed & Peachy Mattifying Primer
- Givenchy – Noir Interdit Mascara
- Cartier – Declaration Eau De Toilette
- Hourglass – Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick
Well, that is it for me today! Sorry for the late post, David and I just got back from being out of town for the weekend. This week’s samples will actually be the last set of samples that I use officially on my blog for Sample Sunday!
