Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette Bingo | Collab with AVLovesMakeup

Hi Friends!

I am so excited to do another palette bingo challenge today! Not only am I excited because I love palette bingos and using my collection to create fun looks, but this post is also in COLLABORATION with Allie from AVLovesMakeup! We have been blogging friends for quite awhile and have similar tastes in makeup! Allie LOVES colorful eye looks, and is literally so adventurous which makes her a lot of fun to follow!

Jeffree Star Cosmetics: Alien Eyeshadow Palette Review | Tayler's Edit

We were talking about what we wanted to do and then we decided on a palette bingo using our Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palettes! If you aren’t familiar with a palette bingo, you select random shades from any palette and create an eye look with it. Allie and I decided to both include the shade Alien and then 4 other random shades!

Here are the shades that I will be using for my palette bingo! (Besides Alien, the other shades were selected using Google’s random number generator.)

Alien – The shade that Allie and I both decided to incorporate

10 – Phone Home

9 – Flying Saucer

12 – X-Files

6 – UFO

Step One

The first thing I did after setting down some of my Marc Jacobs Undercover eye primer, was to blend Phone Home into the crease and the outer corner. I just wanted to have this color as a transition shade for all of the other shades.

Step Two

I then took Flying Saucer and blended that over Phone Home in the outer corner. This just helped deepen up the outer corner so it didn’t look weird with Alien all over my lid. I know at this point, it is looking a little patchy but it will all come together at the end.

Step Three

Next, I packed on Alien which is the bright shimmer green ALL over my lid. I knew I wanted this to be the main focus of my look (which I am sure AV is doing the same)! I also took it slightly on the inner corner and brushed it on the inner half of my lower lash line just to make it pop even more.

Step Four

I then stamped UFO on the center of my eyelid right in between Alien and Flying Saucer. I blended it a bit so that it would mesh well with both of those colors. (I got a little excited placing this shade so you can see it in the picture above when I should have just been taking a picture of Alien).

Step Five

And finally, I brushed X-Files along my lower lash line. And that was all five of my shades! If you read my review of the Alien palette, then you would know that X-Files is one of my FAVORITE shades. I think it looked good on the lower lash line!

And here is the final look!

I REALLY liked the way this look turned out! I am so glad we incorporated the Alien shade since that is a little out of my comfort zone and not a shade that I would reach for on a normal basis. But Alien ended up being my favorite part of the overall look!

I am so excited to Allie’s look now! Please make sure to check out her palette bingo as well, she is so creative, I bet her look is beautiful!

Also let me know what you think of this look, I would love to know! What would you have done if you had the same colors?
