Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday! Today we are talking about the Catrice Cosmetics HD Liquid Coverage Foundation! This is actually the first time I have featured anything from Catrice on my blog – it actually might be the ONLY item I have from them. I feel like I am hearing more and more about Catrice Cosmetics as time goes on though.
I picked up this foundation because I heard it was a dupe for the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. I am not really able to test that theory since I don’t own the Fenty Beauty foundation but I do have some thoughts on the Catrice foundation.
Product Details and Claims
Catrice claims that this foundation has a “lightweight and non-oily texture that feels like a second skin. Provides a long-lasting full coverage without mask effect and creates an even complexion. With “high definition” finish for camera ready skin.” They also claim that this foundation can last up to 24 hours!
The HD Liquid Coverage Foundation retails for $10.99 and you can purchase it at Ulta or on Catrice’s brand website. It includes 30ml / 1.01 fl. Oz which is pretty standard for a foundation. There are 17 shades which is not NEARLY enough to cover all the skin tones out there. If this were a true dupe for Fenty Beauty, they would have had AT LEAST 40 shades.
Other facts about this foundation:
- Paraben free formula
- Not tested on animals
The Packaging
This foundation comes in a short clear glass bottle. Something unique to the packaging though is the dropper applicator. I have had other foundations with a dropper but this one is pretty good at actually holding the foundation and only releasing it when you squeeze the dropper.
I like how simple the bottle is with the clear glass and black text. I am in shade 030 Sand Beige.
My Review
So I have mixed feelings about this foundation. I like how lightweight the formula is – it is easy to blend and also easy to build up in spots that I need a little bit more coverage. However, this foundation is NOT full coverage. Even after building it up – it has a medium coverage at the most. I feel like it appears a little more full coverage once you have set it with powder though.
This foundation also DOES NOT last 24 hours. Not that I tested 24 hours, but it wears off towards the end of my work day to it lasts only 8-9 hours, sometimes less.
But overall, I don’t think this is a bad foundation! If you have good skin and don’t need a FULL coverage foundation, then you might really like this! I like the way it blends into the skin and feels really comfortable like the second skin effect that they described.
Let me know down below if you have tried this foundation! I would LOVE to know! Also, have you tried anything else from Catrice Cosmetics that I should check out?
Eep! I’m not a fan of the whole dropper application with foundation… it’s nice to know that there is decent foundation for a reasonable price though!

I have never tried anything from Catrice that I remember but I have been seeing their name pop up more and more lately. That’s interesting about the dropper bottle! Not sure if I would like that or not

Yeah, I feel like the dropper is very polarizing. I personally don’t mind but it isn’t my favorite packaging!
