My Dominique Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette Collection!

Hi Friends!

This past month has been a Dominique Cosmetics kind of month for me! I pulled out the Lemonade palette and then I pulled out the Latte palette and then I decided to buy the Rustic Glam palette and before I knew it, I literally used Dominique Cosmetics ALL MONTH LONG! I totally don’t mind because I LOVE these eyeshadow palettes. I thought I would go ahead and share my collection!

If you didn’t already know, Dominique Cosmetics was foundation / created by Christen Dominique who is a very popular YouTuber and Makeup Up Artist. I have to admit that I didn’t follow her before she started her brand.

Some benefits of this brand:

  • Cruelty Free
  • Made in the USA

Latte Palette

The Latte Palette was the very first palette and product ever released by Christen but it was actually the third one that I bought from her brand. It retails for $42 and comes with 10 shades and a mirror. As you can tell from the name, this palette is Latte / coffee inspired so there are a lot of neutral, brown, and muted shades. However there are a couple of pops of color as well!

Out of the 10 shades, there are 7 matte and 3 shimmer shade. The shimmer are SO vibrant and the mattes are pigmented and so blendable. This is a highly loved palette by everyone that has tried it. I love this palette – it’s a great go to palette.

Out of all of her palettes so far, this is definitely the most neutral. If you aren’t into colorful eyeshadow looks but want to try her palettes, then I would recommend Latte.

Lemonade Palette

The very first DC palette that I bought was actually the Lemonade palette! I fell IN LOVE with the color selection. It is literally full of the most beautiful bright summer colors. All from yellows, oranges, pinks, a blue and green! The colors are fun but also very wearable (for me at least). Lemonade is the exact same size as the Latte palette, it has 10 shades, a mirror, and also retails for $42.

I was one of the first people to buy this palette. After releasing it, several customers came forward with bad reviews saying that the eyeshadows were not as bright as they expected, especially the shimmer shades. Dominique Cosmetics reached out and said that there was a “eyeshadow pressing” issue and they would send an all new palette to everyone that had already purchased one. So now I actually have two of these beautiful palettes.

Although there was that pressing issue, I still loved my original palette. I wrote a full review and shared that I loved it. And then I did a comparison between palettes after the initial Lemonade palette recall. It is one of my favorites of all time, especially during the summer. If you need a summer palette and like vibrant looks, I highly recommend this one!

Berries & Cream Palette

I took a poll on Instagram for which Dominique Cosmetics palette people would choose if they could only pick one and over 90% of people chose Berries & Cream! Which is understandable because its an absolutely beautiful palette. It is the PERFECT fall palette with the deep purples and reds. Its also a palette that can be pretty neutral if you wanted but also has some pops of colors.

Berries & Cream is a little larger than the Lemonade and Latte palette, it has 12 shades for $44 and also comes with a large mirror. There are only 4 shimmer shades and the rest is matte. I like this palette because there are mix of warm and cool toned shades. It really has so much in the color selection and even though there are only 4 shimmers, they are perfect for the palette.

Rustic Glam Palette

And finally, I have the new Rustic Glam palette! This has slowly taken the spot as my favorite palette from Dominique Cosmetics. It’s a really hard decision of course, but I feel like this palette would be beautiful all year round. There are so many colors in it so it’s a really versatile palette. It has greens, blues, pink, orange, purple, and brown! I have already gotten so many neutral and fun colorful looks from this palette.

Rustic Glam is the same size palette as the Berries & Cream with 12 shadows and a large mirror! There are only 5 shimmers in this one and 7 mattes. It also retails for $44. Blue shadows are so in right now but this is the perfect amount of blue in a palette in my opinion. I can’t pull off full blue looks so I like just adding a pop. The two blues in this palette are perfect!

My Final Thoughts

I LOVE these palettes. The Dominique Cosmetics eyeshadow formula has become one of my favorites. The shadows perform beautifully on the eyes, they’re pigmented and blend like a dream. Each palette has such a beautiful color story that I am intrigued every time I hear that Christen is releasing something new! I think she did a really good job of releasing a high end brand because all of the products feel high end and like there was a lot of work and thought put into them. I love everything about the packaging as well!

I highly recommend any of these palettes. If you are interested in their color stories and are interested in trying this brand, you will not be disappointed.

What Do You Think?

Out of these four beautiful palettes, which one would you choose?! I am so curious to get everyone’s thoughts. Also have you tried Dominique Cosmetics before? What did you think? I would LOVE to know!

  1. Her brand has definitely grown on me over the years – my favorite two palettes are def the Latte Palette & Lemonade Palette. If I were to purchase one of her palettes, I’d def go for the Lemonade palette though because I own too many neutral palettes and those yellow shades are really calling to me! 🙂
