Hi Friends!
Long time no see – I know I have been slacking on blog posts but life has been so busy. And to be honest, I have been lacking in motivation slightly. I have been keeping up with my makeup of the day posts on Instagram (@taylersedit) though! I pulled in my Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye Brightener in my project pan a few months ago and have literally used it every single day. So if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen it more times that you could count!
Thrive Causemetics is actually a REALLY COOL BRAND! For every product that you purchase from them, they donate the same item and / or donate money to a charity. There main causes are fighting cancer, surviving domestic abuse, and emerging from homelessness. They have a really unique model that was implemented since Day 1.
Beyond the fact that this is a charitable brand, the products are also high quality. I am going to share some key ingredients of the Brilliant Eye Brightener but other benefits of Thrive in general are:
- 100% Vegan
- Cruelty free
- Sulfate, Paraben, and Phthalate free
- Also Fragrance free
Product Details
The Brilliant Eye Brightener retails for $24 and comes in 4 different shades. The shade that I have is Stella which is a bright icy champagne shimmer shade (perfect for my skin tone)!
The key ingredients are:
- Mango Seed Oil – Conditions + stabilizes the skin lipid barrier.
- Macadamia Seed Oil + Meadowfoam Seed Oil – Provides nourishing hydration to the delicate skin around the eyes.
- Sunflower See Oil – Instantly hydrates for healthy, glowing, and more youthful-looking skin.
Also site note, the packaging is super cute too! The Brilliant Eye Brightener is a long pencil stick that sits in a tube. The tube is the teal with silver lettering.
My Review
I really like this eye brightener! Thrive recommends using this stick in numerous ways. I mainly use it to brighten the inner corner of my eye or as a brow bone highlight. However, I have also used it as a primer for my shimmer shadows. That isn’t my favorite way to use it because shadows don’t go over the brightener very well but it is still really nice to use as an inner corner highlight. You can also use this brightener as a body shimmer or a cream cheek highlight (which I never have but its nice that its multi-functional!).
I highly recommend this eye brightener – it’s a really nice product. And that is coming from someone who has almost completely used it up! I definitely want to try more from Thrive in the future. I ALSO want to say that this brand is INCREDIBLY supportive. I tag them in my makeup of the day posts on Instagram and they always like and comment. I don’t see brands reply as much as Thrive which makes them stand out a lot to me.
What Do You Think?
Have you tried anything from Thrive before? Do you usually add an inner corner highlight to your eyeshadow looks?! I would LOVE to know!
I love Stella as well! I always use it on my water line to brighten my eyes up. Great review! x
