Makeup Products I’ve Hit Pan On!| December 2018

Hi Friends!

It is getting very close to the end of 2018 – this year has absolutely flown by. One of the posts that I wanted to write before the end of the year was a summary of all of the products that I have hit pan (ever)!

If you aren’t familiar with this type of post, it is essentially just reflecting on products that you have hit pan on. I wanted to track this just to motivate myself to use my makeup and shop my stash. I feel like the more you use your own makeup, you are not as influenced to be constantly shopping and it really shows what items you love using. If you use something enough to hit pan, you must really like it!

So anyway, here are all of the items in my collection that I have pan on!

Eyeshadow Palettes

Stowaway Cosmetics The Dawn to Dusk Palette

This is one of the first eyeshadow palettes that I have ever hit pan on! I received this palette in a PopSugar Must Have subscription box way before I was super into makeup. Although I had a few other palettes, this is one that I used nearly everyday. Of course I hit pan on the matte cream shade. This is the most basic shade but I am also really close to hitting pan on the bronzy brown shade as well.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

If you don’t already know, the Modern Renaissance palette was my 2018 Pan that Palette so I have hit A LOT of pan. My goal was to hit pan on every single shade in the palette and that is exactly what I did! It took nearly all year and I was using this palette nearly every single day so I did get a little tired of it! It took a long time to make this much progress. This is still one of my favorite palettes so it was easy to use throughout the year. I know some of these pans are tiny, but I am still pretty proud of all the progress!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette

For the Soft Glam palette, I only have pan on the matte cream shade, Tempura. I started reaching for this one after I hit pan on the same shade in the Modern Renaissance palette. I use this type of shade everyday so it was easy to hit pan one. Especially because of how soft Anastasia Beverly Hills powders are!

Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette in Bloom Palette

The Tartelette in Bloom is a classic eyeshadow palette – it is such an easy go to neutral palette. I have hit pan on two shades in this palette and it was around the same time. The two shades are Charmer and Flowerchild.  I wasn’t trying to hit pan, I just kept using this palette for setting my eyeshadow primer and then as an easy transition shade. I REALLY enjoy this palette, the mattes are incredible and so easy to blend.

BECCA Apres Eye Lights Eyeshadow Palette

I just recently hit pan on the BECCA Apres Eye Lights palette! It took me FOREVER to reach the pan but I LOVE the way these shimmers look on the eye. This was my go-to shimmer shade for months and months. The pan is really deep and there is a lot of product in this palette so it wasn’t easy to hit pan. I really love theses shimmers though. I have been using the new Becca Volcano Goddess palette recently and the shimmers in the palette are also really nice!

Face Powders

Cargo Cosmetics Blush in The Big Easy

I did a dedicated review to this blush from Cargo Cosmetics because it is one of my absolutely favorites! I was using this EVERY single day for the longest time! It is an easy go to shade so I really had no problem hitting pan on it. I then added it to my project pan so I expanded the pan quite a bit. I have put it away for awhile though so I can focus on other blushes. I don’t remember how long it took to hit pan because it was so long ago and it was before I even knew what hitting pan was. (LOL).

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer

Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer | Tayler's Edit

This was the first bronzer I had ever hit pan on! I included it in my 18 in 2018 project pan and it took a solid 4 months of use to hit pan! I think this was pretty easy to hit pan compared to other bronzers because I have been using the Too Faced Beach Bunny bronzer for over 3 months and I don’t think I am anywhere close to hitting pan. I remember the day that I hit pan on the Butter Bronzer though because I was so surprised and excited! It was really pleasing!

Becca Creme Highlighter in Champagne Pop

The Champagne Pop highlighter was also in my 18 in 2018 project pan for while. I wanted to make some progress on it this year because it is a cream product so I didn’t want it to go bad. This is a BEAUTIFUL highlight. It was fairly hard to hit pan on it but not as hard as a powder highlight.

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Spoon

I know some people say it is easy to hit pan on ColourPop Super Shock products but it is not as easy as you think! Hitting pan on this highlighter was still really hard and look a pretty long time. It is a really pretty highlighter so it was enjoyable to use.

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Wisp

This is another ColourPop Super Shock Cheek highlighter! Again, it still took awhile to hit pan on but I really like this formula for highlighter so I enjoyed using it. I bought Wisp and Spoon in a set with another Super Shock Cheek highlighter so I think next year I will set a goal to hit pan on that one. Let me know what you think!

Benefit Cosmetics Gold Rush Blush

I have been OBSESSED with this blush. I was already using it everyday for months so I threw it into my 7 by New Years Project Pan. About a week after my introduction, I hit pan on this blush. I have even used it a couple of times since then because I love it so much. I have started to use a few other blushes in my collection though since I hope to hit more pan next year!

Well that is it for me today! I am really still working on my Too Faced Beach Bunny bronzer but I wasn’t to go ahead and write this post instead of waiting to see if I hit pan on it before the end of the year. I am also setting some “hit pan” goals on certain products so that post will be up soon, stay tuned!

Let me know down below if you have hit pan on anything recently! Are you a project panner? I would love to know!!
