Hi Friends!
You may already know that I recently finished up the Wet N Wild PhotoFocus Natural Finish Setting Spray in my #TEAMPROJECTPAN! I was about to throw away the packaging and decided that I should share my thoughts on this setting spray.
I bought this setting spray in a bundle along with the PhotoFocus Dewy Face Primer for only $5! However, this setting spray normally retails for $5.49 by itself. It does come with 1.52 oz / 45ml which is about half of what comes in a normal setting spray but like can you really beat the Wet N Wild pricing? I would say that this setting spray lasted a little over a month for me.
Claims & Benefits
Of course, the main claim for this setting spray is that is extends makeup wear “by preventing cracking, smudging, fading, or creasing.
Here are the perceived benefits:
- Weightless and vegan formula
- Contains Aloe Vera to hydrate skin
- For all skin types
Also I want to note that Wet N Wild is a cruelty free brand which is also definitely a benefit!
The Packaging
The packaging for this setting spray is pretty straight forward. The bottle is completely white with black lettering and a black see-through cap. It is a short and stubby bottle that kind of looks like a big pill.
On one side of the bottle, the products details appear in English and on the other side the product details appear in French. The sprayer is a standard push down nozzle.
My Review
Soooo… there are some pros and cons to this product. I do agree that this setting spray is really hydrating! It has a soft Aloe Vera scent which is enjoyable but not overwhelming. I really like how it feels on the skin overall.
However, as I mentioned – this setting spray does have some cons. I didn’t notice it have any affect on the longevity of my makeup. That is probably the biggest con since that is the point of setting spray. The other thing that I am not a fan of is the nozzle. I noticed, especially as this spray started to get low that it doesn’t spray evenly across the face. Often it would come out with large spots on my face.
Overall, I think this setting spray is okay. I wouldn’t recommend it as a setting spray but more of a face spray to hydrate your skin. It was so cheap that it is hard to complain too much. I really do like Wet N Wild as a brand as well.
Let me know down below if you have tried this setting spray and what your thoughts were on it?! If you haven’t tried this setting spray, have you tried anything else from Wet N Wild? I would love to know!
I love the cucumber spray they make! Also, their highlighter in “boozy brunch” is a favorite
